Dysfunctional Family : "OTIS" - House of 1000 Corpses & Devil's Rejects (Honor: The Friedmans in CAPTURING THE FRIEDMANS, The Hamiltons, Mum & Dad)

Most Disturbing/Shocking/Ultra-Violent : Fire extinguisher head-bashing & Belluci's rape scene in IRREVERSIBLE (Honor : Head-chopping in APOCALYPTO, Eli Roth's HOSTEL and plenty scenes in INSIDE & Martyrs, and the underrated The Ruins - leg-cutting scene a homage to Cannibal Holocaust)

Romantic : ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND (Honor: Love Actually).

Survivor : "Jaguar Paw" - APOCALYPTO (Honor: "David Drayton" - The Mist (NOT in a good way))

Villain : "JOKER" - The Dark Knight (Honor : "Esther" - The Orphan, "Col. Hans Landa" - INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, "Alonzo Harris" - TRAINING DAY, "Saruman" - The Lord of The Rings")

FIGHT scene : "TONY JAA" - Stair fighting scene in The PROTECTOR - The longest EVER fighting scene in a ONE take.

ANTHOLOGY (Horror) : 4BIA (Honor: Trick r' Treat)

Best quotes (in funniest way) : "Motherfucker! I'm the boss around here but he gets his picture in the paper! Have you found my photo in there?" - Lil' Ze (after seeing Knockout Ned's front page photo on local newspaper) - CITY OF GOD

Sam : "I can't carry it for you, but i can carry you!" - LORD OF THE RINGS - RETURN OF THE KING

REMAKES (Horror) : DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004) - No, Romero's original still the best, but Zack Snyder's "re-imagining" modernized zombies pretty much got everything you need for a sweet adrenaline-charged zombietainment. Nuff said.

(Honorable mentions: HILLS HAVE EYES (2006), Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN (2007) and I dunno how to put this, but I kinda like Last House on The Left (2009) recently remade - Why? Ask Bloody-Disgusting.com, how the hell did House of Wax - oh yes, the Paris Hilton's version made to the Top 10 best remakes. Go figure)

REMAKES (Non-horror) : OCEAN'S ELEVEN (Honor: Charlie & Chocolate Factory, The Manchurian Candidate (2004))

Best LAST line : "This is my gift. My curse. Who am I? ... I'm Spider-Man!" - SPIDERMAN (2002) (Honor: "Silencio...." - MULHOLLAND DRIVE, "Game Over!" - JIGSAW - SAW)

PRISON :
Note : I'm pretty sure not many prison movies have been produced since last decade - Shawshank Redemption (oh man, this is the greatest EVER), Blood in Blood Out, The Green Mile, Hurricane.

Nevertheless, there are few underrated movies shouldn't be missed : FELON (2008) and CARANDIRU (2003) by Hector Bebenco (Brazilian film) - based on true story, unique, SHOCKING and provocative.

ROAD MOVIE : Y tu mamá también

Virus/OUTBREAK : (Ok I'm not being personal) Eli Roth's CABIN FEVER (Necrotizing Fasciitis disease) (Honorable mentions: T-Virus in RESIDENT EVIL, Krippin Virus - I AM LEGEND, 'Rage' virus in 28 Days Later and 'Signal' virus in THE SIGNAL.)

Isn't she pretty?
